 Dear Class of "63"

Whoa, 40 years, where have they gone?  After school I moved to Topeka and worked.  There is where I met my life partner of 39 years.  Bob and I married and moved around for the military, school, and job.  We have been settled in our current home for 31 years and will stay here till we retire and moved to a lake or the country.  We have raised our two children here in Colleyville.

Both children and families live near us.  Our daughter Mary-Ann and Mike have 6 children between them. They have four boys and two girls.  Mike is a pilot for Delta and Mary-Ann after working years after college is now a stay home Mom.  Our son Jeff is a General Manager for Radio Shack and Cindy a Counselor until their children were born.

Our children and grandkids are our passion.  Grandchildren are Greg, 19 who is currently serving in Iraq; Beth, 18 is in 1st year college; Rebecka, 13 is finishing 7th grade and cheerleading.  Twins Randall and Michael are finishing 4th grade and they are into music and electronic things.  Jarrod, is 8 and finishing 2nd grade and is the baby of Mary-Ann and Mikes family.  Brianna and Cameron are Jeff and Cindy's children.  Brianna is turning 5 soon and is looking forward to kindergarten in the fall and she loves dancing. Cameron just turned 2 and is our baby and a pleasure to the whole family.

Bob has worked with airlines or aeronautics for 40 years and is looking forward to retirement.  I spent the formative years of our children lives as a stay home mom, but for the past 19 years I have worked for Zale Corporation. My assistants and I are responsible for the corporation's deposits, reimbursement expenses, travel, along with personal banking services for 1000 plus employees.  I too am looking forward to retirement.  Our plans are to travel which we now do by air or in our RV. We have traveled many places and love it.

When I have free time I like to paint, sew, do crafts and yes this farm girl still likes to get into the the dirt.  I have a passion for flower gardening. We love spending time at our church and with our friends.

It has been delightful reading about each of you and I am sorry to say I will not see ya all in June because I have promised my grandchildren I would go to Sea World with them.  Have a great time and keep in touch as we each have great memories of our school years together.

Carolyn
